THE CROSSING

A mixture of new, existing and heritage buildings create the new retail centre of the city.

Designed to house over 60 high-end businesses, the Crossing will bring a fresh and sophisticated retail and dining experience to the Christchurch CBD.

Avoiding the standard mall layout and artificial lighting, the design creates an intimate ambience and ease for pedestrians, shoppers and diners.

The project balances the historic, iconic 1935-style of the cornerstone Cashel and Colombo building, with connected laneways, artistic endeavours and hidden gems. It will also include a large purpose-designed parking facility for 630.
