NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION CENTRE
The New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC), a 32,000 square-metre seven-level building, will be the largest convention and exhibition facility in New Zealand.
Due for completion in 2019, it will occupy a central Auckland site bounded by Hobson, Nelson and Wellesley Streets.
This large and complex building will be able to host up to 2,850 delegates for convention and entertainment events.
As a uniquely urban convention centre, it includes a midblock laneway that connects Nelson Street to the new Hobson Street entry plaza and provides public access to the NZICC entry gallery at multiple levels. This will improve urban amenities of the surrounding streets by providing a range of social, retail and hospitality experiences.
RLB is currently providing cost management and quantity surveying services.
