The new Perth Stadium will be open for the start of the 2018 AFL season. RLB has been appointed as the State's Advisor for quantity surveyor services on the project.

A ‘fans first’ approach to the design and technology of the stadium has resulted in creating an exceptional event atmosphere that focuses on the ‘experience’.

With a 60,000-seat capacity, its functionality, services, finishes and fit-out will ensure that it is one of Australia’s finest.

The site was a former waste facility and required significant pre-construction site works to prepare it for a new stadium.

RLB provided full cost management services for this phase of the project.

The new stadium has been delivered as a Public-Private-Partnership and RLB are working closely with the Department of Treasury, Strategic Projects and Department of Sport and Recreation to provide cost advice to the State Government during the brief development, procurement, award and delivery phases of the project.

The design of the stadium acknowledges Western Australia’s unique sporting, cultural and Aboriginal heritage, and the Sports Precinct landscape provides a spectacular vista across the Swan River to the city.
