DARWIN MARINE SUPPLY BASE, EAST ARM
The $110 million marine supply base will increase Darwin's capacity to support large offshore oil and gas operations.
It hopes to attract new business opportunities, providing services for the offshore oil and gas industry that are not currently available in the Northern Territory.
This eight-and-a-half hectare base consists of three working berths and associated facilities. Port dredging and wharf construction included piling in an eight-metre tidal range environment.
RLB provided independent engineer services and progress claim assessments.
