AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY HAIL REMEDIATION

The Australian National University Hail Remediation project in Canberra, Australia, managed by the Australian National University, demonstrates RLB’s proficiency in construction programming and delay claim analysis.

This initiative originated from the catastrophic hailstorm on January 20, 2020, which was the most severe hailstorm event recorded in the ACT, causing extensive damage to over 120 buildings on the ANU campus. In collaboration with Construction Control and Hindmarsh, RLB has been integral in immediate repair works and damage assessment.

Additionally, RLB is assisting ANU with insurance processes, leading into the permanent repair phase. Significant buildings involved in this project include Old Canberra House, the School of Art and Design, the RN Robertson Compound, and the JB Chifley Library.

RLB’s expertise in construction planning and scheduling ensures the effective restoration of these facilities, delivering comprehensive construction project schedules and building construction schedules tailored to the needs of this critical remediation project.
