Creating an iconic multi-purpose entertainment and sports stadium

ATLANTA FALCONS NFL STADIUM

Opening its doors in time for the 2017 NFL Season, this modernized, multi-purpose entertainment and sports stadium expands to accommodate special events such as the Super Bowl and NCAA Final Four.

This 1.8 million square-foot stadium will be home to the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons and features an impressive retractable roof, made up of eight petal-like panels that can open and close to let in various amounts of sunlight.

This unique design will allow the stadium to be climate controlled and used for both indoor and outdoor events. Other features include an innovative ‘halo’ video board surrounding the retractable roof.

RLB provided an independent conceptual level construction cost estimate for the new stadium. We also reconciled our estimate with the selected construction manager’s concept level construction cost estimate.
