ANZ CENTRE REDEVELOPMENT
This group of projects in south east Auckland will improve transport choices and connections in the area. Major transport improvements have already been made with the opening of the new Panmure Station and Te Horeta Road.
As the centre of a $76-million makeover, this was judged the most challenging and successful property development of 2013.
The 32-storey commercial office required very complex and innovative planning to facilitate the redevelopment works, which included 22,000 square metres of internal office space, adding environmentally sustainable features, replacing 16 lifts and refurbishing the lobby.
RLB provided cost management and quantity surveying services for the base build part of the project.
This included estimating services from concept to design, tender analysis, risk management, and management of non-construction related costs.
