Richard Anderson

Richard Anderson is a Director at RLB in Auckland, having previously served as a Director on both the Global and Oceania Boards.

Richard began his journey with RLB in 1986, when he joined the Auckland office after working in London post-graduation. In 1990, he relocated to Los Angeles to establish RLB’s operations there, before returning to Auckland in 1994 to lead the post-contract administration for the SkyCity Casino and Sky Tower developments.

With over 40 years of experience across sectors such as aviation, healthcare, hospitality, civic, industrial, and residential construction, Richard provides strategic advice to clients undertaking major building developments.

He is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors, a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Richard has also been a judge for the Property Council of New Zealand’s Industry Awards since 2014.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying from Abertay University (formerly Dundee Institute of Technology).
