The directors of Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) in Christchurch are pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Chatterton to Associate. We would like to thank Tom for his contribution to date, and congratulate him on his promotion.
Tom Chatterton – Associate
Since joining RLB in Christchurch in 2012, Tom has worked on a range of large scale construction projects in multiple sectors in relation to the rebuild of Christchurch city.
Tom is an energetic and motivated professional quantity surveyor with a sound knowledge of all core skills. Tom delivers projects from inception to completion, providing quality advice to his clients.
His enthusiasm, dedication, commitment and innovative approach to his work has seen him make his mark on the property industry. He has shown great leadership by building strong links with clients and industry associations to develop new technologies and software.
Tom has been heavily involved with Building Information Modelling (BIM), which has led him to author articles and BIM guidelines, as well as presenting on the topic to a range of audiences.
He is currently a member of the RLB Global Digital Advancement Committee, which focuses on embracing BIM technology and targeting the alignment of modern technologies with RLB services.
Tom has recently become a board member of the South Island Property Council Branch Executive, as well as sitting on the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveying Branch Board.
Tom is a Registered Quantity Surveyor with the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NZIQS) and a Chartered Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
