Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is pleased to announce the appointment of Val Needham as a new Associate in Adelaide.
Val brings to the Associate role a proven track record of delivering flawless execution and a passion for developing his high level technical ability and attention to detail.
His specialist use of the RLB ROSS 5D estimating software has seen him become the software office expert for on screen measurement and Building Information Modelling (BIM), giving him an excellent insight into the trend towards Integrated Project Delivery (IPD).
Val has extensive experience in all aspects of quantity surveying, providing commercial certainty on a broad range of complex and varied projects including Adelaide Airport Terminal 1 Expansion, Adelaide Airport Landside Infrastructure Project, Pembroke Middle School Development, Sundrop Farms at Port Augusta and the Australian Federal Police Office Building at Adelaide Airport.
On receiving his appointment, Val said he is delighted to join the leadership team in Adelaide and build on its achievements.
‘As an industry leader, RLB has both the knowledge and expertise to contribute to projects throughout all phases, from concept design to facility management,’ he said.
‘The move towards Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) will see further procurement benefits as all stakeholders collaborate and share risk and return to achieve optimised outcomes, he added.’
