We are proud to announce that Design & Built Environment, Curtin University, Quay Quarter Tower, Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS), and 6&8 Parramatta Square are all finalists for the 2024 Property Council of Australia / Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Awards in the GHD Design Award for Best Sustainable Development category.

These projects highlight the role of sustainability in shaping the built environment:

Curtin University’s Design & Built Environment building integrates sustainable materials and design practices to create a beautiful, functional public space.

Quay Quarter Tower transforms an existing structure, redefining sustainability in office design.

Surgical Treatment and Rehabilitation Service (STARS) is the first hospital in Australia to achieve a 5-Star Green Star rating.

6&8 Parramatta Square is an exemplar of sustainability in large-scale office development.

Winners will be revealed at the ICC Sydney on 11 September.

This year marks a significant milestone for RLB, as we celebrate 75 years of shaping Australia’s built environment.

Since establishing our first overseas office in Melbourne in 1949, RLB has been part of Australia’s iconic projects, including the Sydney Opera House.

Our unwavering commitment to quality, collaboration, and innovation has been central to our legacy, as we continue to influence and shape the future of our industry.

As we honour the outstanding achievements at the 2024 Innovation & Excellence Awards, we look forward to building on this proud heritage for many more years to come.
