Congratulations to Victoria University City Tower and Waterfront Brisbane who are among the finalists in the running for the NBN Award for Project Innovation.

In an Australian commercial first, ISPT has deployed CSIRO-developed tracking technology to transform three critical paths during the building of VU City Tower, a landmark education project. The solutions significantly improved the safety of construction workers and productivity on site, to set a new benchmark for smart construction connectivity.

The $2.5 billion Waterfront Brisbane project by property leader Dexus stands as a shining example of innovative development thanks to a ground-breaking approach to community engagement. The Waterfront Brisbane app is playing a critical role in reducing community impact throughout the construction process.

In collaboration with RLB since 1982, the prestigious awards have promoted excellence in design and innovation in the built environment. From 157 eligible finalists, the winners were selected by a high calibre judging panel made up of 14 property specialists and chaired by Adrian Harrington.

Winners will be announced at the 2023 Property Council of Australia / Rider Levett Bucknall Innovation and Excellence Awards, to be held at the ICC Sydney on Wednesday 23 August 2023.
