Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) Director Fiona Doherty was recently appointed to the Board of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).
Fiona has been involved with NAWIC’s ACT Chapter since 2008. She was the Chapter’s Treasurer from 2008 to 2011 and was a Board Director representing ACT in 2011. Fiona has again held the Chapter Treasurer role since 2015 and has been pivotal in the Chapter’s growth from both a sponsorship and member benefit perspective. Fiona also brings extensive operational experience gained as a Board member for various not-for-profit organisations. As a NAWIC Board member, Fiona wants to engage with NAWIC members, demonstrate its relevance to the construction industry and most importantly, lobby Government and corporations for change.
Fiona has been long associated with NAWIC and brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the board. We have no doubt she will be a tremendous asset to the board as it furthers NAWIC’s mission to be the leading advocate organisation for women in the construction industry.
