May Killinge – Associate Director
Joining RLB in 2000, May has over 35 years’ experience in the construction industry and as a professional Quantity Surveyor, both in New Zealand and overseas.
She has enhanced knowledge and experience in a wide variety of construction and engineering sectors, including health, commercial, education, institutional, residential, retail, hospitality, convention and exhibition.
May acts as the client’s trusted advisor on a wide range of projects, implementing rigorous financial control processes and providing accurate and timely data and advice.
She has delivered best practice solutions for a range of key projects including the New Zealand International Convention Centre, Hobson Street Hotel and projects at Sky City in Auckland.
As a highly valued member of our team, May brings a very detail-focused, solution-based approach to all her projects and is committed to achieving exceptional value for her clients.
Ed Cook – Associate Director
With over 10 years’ experience globally as a consultant quantity surveyor, including two years delivering major infrastructure projects in Europe, Ed has established himself as a crucial and valuable team member since joining RLB in 2017.
His strengths cover the whole spectrum of quantity surveying, particularly in the pre-construction phase within construction sectors including education, public sector works, commercial, airports, custodial, health, and research & development in New Zealand and in the UK.
Setting accurate budgets, implementing rigorous financial control processes and adopting successful negotiation techniques, Ed has an eye for detail and is committed to delivering all projects on time and on budget.
Ed has earned an impeccable track record of achieving excellent value for his clients some of which include Watercare, NZTA, many District Health Boards, Auckland Council and Panuku Development, University of Waikato and several significant projects for Auckland International Airport.
