Congratulations to RLB in Christchurch Quantity Surveyor Danni Platt who has been awarded a prestigious Trust Scholar in recognition of her achievements in her Bachelor of Construction (Quantity Surveying) degree at Ara Institute of Canterbury in 2019.
‘Knowing that your hard work has paid off and is being recognised is humbling and inspires me to reach new heights,’ said Danni.
While Danni’s graduation ceremony was scheduled to take place at the Christchurch Town Hall Auditorium today, due to the COVID-19 Level 4 alert in New Zealand, she will graduate in absentia.
Danni continued, ‘It is pretty disappointing but understandable given the current situation. We have the option of graduating in absentia or joining the September graduation. I’ve chosen in absentia, as I am planning on doing more study so I will certainly enjoy my next graduation ceremony.’
The award was issued by the HH Bunckenburg Memorial Trust established in honour of the late Henry Herbert Bunckenburg, who was a great influence on the quantity surveying profession in New Zealand.
Please join us in congratulating Danni on her Trust Scholar and her exceptional academic achievement.
