RLB is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Reynolds as Global Chairman, effective July 2022.
Andrew has been a member of the Global Board since 2017. In his new role, Andrew will coordinate the efforts of the global practice and extend RLB’s leading position in the global market.
As Chief Executive of RLB UK and Europe, Andrew has led the significant expansion of RLB in both regions and is responsible for the company’s strategic vision, goals and direction. RLB UK is recognised as one of the country’s leading and largest employee-owned companies, approaching 1,000 team members.
Andrew began his career with RLB in London in 2001 and is a chartered quantity surveyor. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Member of the Association of Project Managers.
In expressing his appreciation to RLB’s Global Board members for their confidence in his leadership, Andrew said: “RLB’s great reputation as a trusted and independent adviser is built upon our focus on quality service, deep understanding, experience of regional markets, and expert skills from across our global practice to create exceptional project outcomes.
“In a changing world, our practice needs to evolve and collaborate in new ways. We will continue to invest in our people, our services and technology to meet these changing needs while upholding our core beliefs of professionalism, quality, and technical and client focus.”
Andrew succeeds Kenneth Kwan, who is Chairman of RLB’s North Asia practice. “Kenneth provided a steadying hand, steering the global practice positively through the global pandemic while upholding the global values of RLB. I would like to thank Kenneth for his dedication to our business, clients and industry and look forward to continuing our work together,” Andrew said.
Kenneth congratulated Andrew on his new appointment, commenting: “I have known Andy for many years, and it is invaluable to see and learn how he makes business thrive in his region.” Kenneth will remain a member of the Global Board.
In October 2022, Andrew will lead a RLB global conference to progress solutions on key industry issues, including the environment, skills and technology. The London conference will bring together 100-plus senior global managers from across the practice to exchange views, share experience and knowledge and lead RLB’s response to the evolution of the built environment.
