The directors of Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) in Queensland are pleased to announce two promotions within the Queensland infrastructure team: Raed Mitry and Nav Nadarajah.
According to RLB Managing Director, Matt Long, the promotions recognise the pair’s long-standing contributions to RLB’s infrastructure work and will accelerate RLB’s market-leading position as Queensland readies for a surge in infrastructure investment.
“The Brisbane Olympics in 2032 is just one of the exciting opportunities ahead for Australian infrastructure development. These promotions recognise the depth and insight that Raed and Nav bring to our strong infrastructure team,” Mr Long said.

Raed Mitry – Technical Director of Infrastructure
A member of RLB’s team since 2007, Raed has worked in Australia and the Middle East. He has deep experience providing expert due diligence, risk analysis, cost planning and cost management on a variety of projects. Raed has led teams on complex and high-profile projects including Inland Rail, Brisbane Metro, Townsville Eastern Access Rail Corridor, Toowoomba Second Range Crossing and the Port of Townsville.
“Raed’s people skills are excellent, and he has the ability to motivate and quickly establish a high-performance culture within his project teams. He maintains a clear focus on achieving outstanding quality and timely service for his clients,” Mr Long says.
Nav Nadarajah – Senior Associate
Since joining RLB in 2015, Nav has worked on diverse projects including Inland Rail, Brisbane Metro, New Generation Rollingstock, Toowoomba Second Range, Aerodrome Drive, Sunshine Coast Light Rail and the High Capacity Metro Train in Victoria.
“Nav adopts a ‘hands on’ approach to every project and has a reputation for asking hard questions of design intention and construction while fostering enduring relationships with clients. This approach delivers practical and economical solutions.
