The Daniell Building is a 54,000 m² facility integrating research, development, manufacturing, and distribution on Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s East Tāmaki campus. Supporting 700 staff, it features flexible workspaces, 4,000 m² of manufacturing areas, laboratories, a distribution centre, cafeterias, parking, and end-of-trip facilities.

With a 5 Green Star rating for excellence, the building showcases sustainability through high-performance glazing, energy-efficient heating and cooling, rainwater harvesting, and EV charging stations to encourage sustainable transport.

Designed for adaptability, the project addressed market uncertainties and anticipated growth through robust stakeholder engagement and evidence-based design. Modular planning and advanced BIM technology fostered collaboration, ensuring seamless integration of workplace and manufacturing functions.

Completed on schedule and within budget, the Daniell Building reflects Fisher & Paykel Healthcare’s culture of continuous improvement and commitment to delivering world-leading healthcare solutions.
