The Sunshine Coast RLB Crane Index® decreased to 140 index points from the record high of 160 in the last edition.
Q3 2024
Highlights
The region saw the removal of 11 cranes, and the addition of nine cranes, to record a total of 14 cranes.
Residential remains the dominant sector, accounting for 72% of cranes in the region. New cranes were erected at the following residential projects:
- Maroochy Private Hospital (Maroochydore), Commercial
- 50 First Avenue (Maroochydore),
- Aero Apartments (Maroochydore)
- Sunshine Coast Grammar School (Forest Glen), Education
- Bianco (Caloundra)
- Ocean Rise (Kings Beach)
- Avani Mooloolaba Beach Hotel (Mooloolaba), Hotel
- St Clair (Birtinya)
- Serenity (Maroochydore)
Cranes were removed from residential projects:
- Zinc (Bokarina, two cranes)
- Azzure (Bokarina, two cranes)
- The Beach Front (Buddina)
- The Corso (Maroochydore)
- Nature (Maroochydore)
- Honu (Moffat Beach)
- Lowana (Buddina)
- Cabana (Maroochydore)
- Tallow (Noosa)
