The Sunshine Coast RLB Crane Index® decreased to 160 index points from the record high of 220 in the last edition.
Q1 2024
Highlights
The region saw the removal of eight cranes, and the addition of two cranes, to record a total of 16 cranes.
Residential remains the dominant sector, accounting for all cranes in the region. New cranes were erected at the following residential projects:
- Lagune (Moffat Beach)
- Cotton Tree by Mosaic (Cotton Tree)
Cranes were removed from:
- Maroochydore CBD Car Park, (Maroochydore)
- Lorient (Maroochydore)
- Ocean Verge (Kings Beach)
- East 153 (Moffat Beach)
- The Curl (Bokarina)
- Riverbend Apartments (Maroochydore)
- Serenity (Maroochydore)
- The Beach Front (Buddina, one crane remains)
