Cameron Smith – Director
Cameron has over 16 years’ experience in the Australian Property Industry and is an extremely well- respected member of RLB’s management team.
Joining RLB in 2002, he has successfully contributed to a comprehensive portfolio of health, education, tertiary, research, commercial, civic, industry, defence, public realm and leisure projects. Cameron has expertise in all aspects of quantity surveying, with a strong work ethic of proven reliability and accuracy. His diverse set of skills and broad sector experience have proven invaluable.
Cameron’s major projects include UQ Advanced Engineering Building, Cross River Rail, Townsville Hospital Redevelopment and Queens Wharf projects.

Jim Krebs – Director
Since joining RLB in Queensland as a quantity surveyor in 2006, Jim has worked in the Brisbane, Townsville and Gold Coast offices. He has experience in all facets of quantity surveying across a diverse range of both public and private sector projects. Jim has specialist expertise in cost consultancy services through all stages of construction, from inception to completion, with a focus on cost management and strategic development advisory.
Jim’s extensive knowledge of the Queensland marketplace is a vital resource, and clients welcome his valued honesty, feedback and his ability to help achieve the best project outcomes.
His major projects include Destination Gold Coast, Townsville Hospital Redevelopment, JCU The Science Place, Gold Coast Airport Expansion and the Gold Coast University Hospital project.

Colin Brien – Associate
Originally from RLB in Melbourne, Colin has become a key member of our Brisbane-based team, with over 15 years’ experience in a wide range of project sectors, including aged care, commercial, education and research, healthcare, public and civic, residential and retail. His extensive experience in all aspects of quantity surveying include feasibility estimates, cost planning and post-contract services.
Colin’s client relationships, attention to detail, and running cadet mentoring have made him an integral part of the Brisbane office.
His career highlights include Howard Smith Wharves Redevelopment, Queen’s Plaza Revitalisation, Ipswich City Heart, Westside Place and The Glen Shopping Centre.
