Creating the first 6-Star Green Star building in New Zealand

CHRISTCHURCH CIVIC BUILDING

This six-storey, 24,000 square-metre civic office building was completed in 2010 to house 1,200 council employees.

Built out of the old post office sorting building, the major extension included a refit and a new double skin façade.

The Civic Building is the first 6-Star Green Star, tri-generation plant building in New Zealand, and has also achieved a 6-Star Green Star Office Built rating.
