Tom is a Director of RLB in Christchurch having commenced his career with RLB as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in 2012. He is also chairman of the Global Digital Advancement Committee.
He has worked on a full range of large-scale construction projects with values up to $450 million. He has played a pivotal role in the rebuilding of Christchurch city centre.
Widely respected for his passion for problem-solving and digital technology, Tom is the in-house champion of Building Information Modelling.
Experience in public and private health sectors and major commercial projects in Christchurch have taught Tom to recognise quality. He has expertise in delivering every service offering and enjoys an enviable reputation among clients for minimising their risk.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Quantity Surveying and is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors.
Tom is Chair of Canterbury New Zealand Institute of Quantity Surveyors and the South Island Education Trust Committee and sits on the South Island Property Council executive. He has received three RLB Employee Excellence Awards, the Property Council’s Judges’ Choice Award, and the Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors International IWATA Competition.
