RLB in Victoria bids farewell to Chris Robinson, who embarks on his retirement after four remarkable decades with our firm.
Chris has played a vital role in the success of Rider Levett Bucknall, making significant contributions to the company’s growth and achievements.
Speaking of Chris’ invaluable contribution and legacy, RLB Managing Director Tony Moleta reflected on his role as a “sounding board” and “wealth of knowledge” for staff at all levels during his impressive tenure.
The Victorian and wider RLB group congratulate Chris on an exceptional career, as both a mentor and a friend. His profound impact will be greatly missed, and we wish him all the best in his retirement.
Chris began his career at RLB in 1978 and played a pivotal role in leading RLB’s IT strategy and investment, and notably the development of our technical software.
In 1992, Chris joined Multiplex, spending nine years before returning to RLB in 2001 with new perspectives on projects. Chris worked on iconic Melbourne projects. He helped to transform Collins Street with world-class developments at 80, 171, 161 and 555 Collins Street, for instance.
Chris has provided sound mentorship to many of our past and present staff and has always been willing to share his experiences to encourage others to take their own path.
“It has been a great privilege to be part of RLB, as well as work alongside my long standing and trusted clients over the years,” Chris said. “The time is now to embark on this next phase of life.”

Natasha Carter embraces new role
Natasha Carter is poised to fully embrace her position as an Associate, where she will assume a crucial role in spearheading the technical delivery of strategic major and complex projects.
Natasha, who joined RLB as a graduate in 1999, said: “I am thankful to the Directors at RLB for the opportunity to lead the technical facets of our strategic project commissions in line with the company’s new five-year business plan. This exciting role will unlock my core skillset and I am grateful for this opportunity.”
Tony Moleta says Natasha’s appointment is in line with RLB’s new business strategy. “Natasha’s strong technical capabilities, team leadership and strong industry network make her a perfect fit for the position,” said Tony.
Natasha will assume her new role in October. Prior to this, she plans to spend quality time with her family, including her daughter Poppy, who lives with spina bifida.
“RLB has built a strong, agile team with its sights set on the future,” Tony concluded.
