Enhancing accessibility for all

JUMEIRAH ENGLISH SPEAKING SCHOOL (JESS)

RLB was engaged to manage modification works with the aim of improving accessibility at JESS’ Arabian Ranches campus for people of determination in accordance with the Dubai Universal Design Code (DUDC).

The works included staircase modifications, installation of internal and external floor tactile to identify level changes for visually impaired people, and construction of accessible toilets. RLB’s scope of service included defining the strategy, tendering, contractor selection, contract management as well as execution and management of the works through to hand over.
