RLB is currently acting as quantity surveyor on this prestigious five-star hotel, adjacent to the Grand Mosque.
Consisting of about 5,500 guestrooms over about 500,000 square metres, the two phases are connected with a bridge over the Ring Road, and include two podiums with five towers.
Embracing modern methods of construction, such as off-site pre-fabrication, the design introduces many sustainable technologies.
The specific features of religious tourism and the large scale of the operation, led to a rigorous design process. RLB supported this through cost planning, estimating and benchmarking.
Working with tvsdesign in the US, and a client team in Dubai and KSA, RLB’s global coverage and international hospitality experience brought together sector expertise and local market knowledge to support the client and design team.
