Expanding airport facilities to welcome 30 million passengers

Abu Dhabi Airports is undertaking a multi-billion dollar capital development programme to expand its facilities.

The centerpiece of this programme is the state of the art Midfield Terminal Building, which includes associated aircraft parking stands and support facilities, including retail and food and beverage outlets catering to a total capacity of 30.2 million annual passengers.

SSP Emirates LLC will operate many food and beverage units in the new terminal building (approximately 40% of the total space). This includes four units in the main international departures lounge; premium seafood bar, luxury concept, local theme concept, local casual dining-cafe concept, and an international food court.
