On Friday, 17th March, Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB), together with other prominent organisations from the construction industry, successfully launched the first in an exciting series of cross-industry, sporting events in Dubai.
RLB, Woods Bagot and Khansaheb – all industry leaders in their respective fields of cost management, architecture and contracting – have teamed up to co-create a series of sports networking events with the aim of providing opportunities to nurture industry relationships, enhance collaboration, and initiate fun networking events for their people.
The first event of the series took place at Padel Pro, Dubai, where 28 construction industry professionals, including guests from engineering firm WSP, played a few rounds of friendly Padel in 14 mixed-company teams.

We’re excited to restore a bit of energy and camaraderie into the networking scene for our industry and what better way to do that than through sporting events that are inclusive and entertaining. We look forward to building on the success of this first event and to working with our industry peers to roll out more events throughout the year.
Following the success of this first event, with a turn out that filled all the courts, the organising committee of RLB, Woods Bagot and Khansaheb plan to collaborate on future events that will include indoor and outdoor sporting activities such as football, cricket, basketball and badminton.
