Due to continual success and growth, we are currently recruiting for a Public Realm and Civil Estimator to join our client focused team in Adelaide.  The ideal candidate will need to have relevant experience in Landscaping and Civil Infrastructure estimating or similar and demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role.

The Public Realm and Civil Estimator will be responsible for carrying out and delivering the measurement and pricing associated with dedicated Public Realm and similar Civil Projects and a commitment to delivering customer service excellence and good commercial results is key.

We are keen to hear from candidates to join our team and who must have the following attributes and skill sets:

  • Industry experience in landscaping and civil estimating and with at least 2 years’ plus demonstrated experience as a dedicator estimator.
  • Knowledge of landscaping and civil construction and understands first principle estimating and has practical knowledge.
  • Experience in South Australia and or throughout Australia is essential.
  • Relationship with clients, designers, specialist contractors and suppliers is advantageous.
  • Ability to work both autonomously as well as part of a wider Public Realm and Civil Estimating Team.
  • Ability to measure projects accurately and in detail.
  • Must be able to communicate well and establish and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Preparing estimates for both local and regional locations.
  • Experience with estimating software systems, onscreen take-off software and earthworks modelling.

The Public Real and Civil Estimator will be responsible for carrying out and delivering both pre and post contract estimating duties, including but not limited to:

  • Project estimates for all phases of design for the project.
  • Cost Control – planning, forecasting and estimation.
  • Value Management
  • Benchmarking Analysis
  • Support Post Contract Services, including assessment of progress claims and assessment of contract variations.
