Empowering our People

Our people remain at the heart of everything we do. Across the globe, RLB has nurtured talent, created leadership opportunities, and celebrated excellence in our industry. Investing in Leadership and Development:

  • Investing in Leadership and Development: In North America, 12 colleagues were promoted to senior leadership roles, from Associate to Vice President, providing greater shareholding opportunities in line with our ethos as an employee-owned company. Similarly, in Africa, three colleagues were promoted to Partner, underscoring our commitment to developing talent from within.
  • Recognising Industry Excellence: Our Hong Kong team’s outstanding professionalism earned them the Quantity Surveying Team of the Year Award at the RICS Hong Kong Awards for the third consecutive year. Meanwhile, RLB UK was celebrated as a Top Employer for the 18th year running and maintained its Investors in People Gold standard.
  • Building a Global Experience: We expanded the Global Experience Exchange Programme to include non-technical roles, ensuring that every member of our practice has the opportunity to grow and contribute.
  • Promoting Diversity and Inclusion: The Middle East team reflects our commitment to inclusion, representing 16 nationalities with a 1:3 female-to-male ratio, far surpassing industry standards. In Africa, initiatives like the Employment Equity Committee promote fairness and equality, and bursaries have been provided to disadvantaged female students pursuing careers in quantity surveying.
