UCHealth, one of Colorado’s leading healthcare providers, was originally only going to lease two floors of the building but decided to occupy the whole of it. This enabled it to offer a wider range of services and facilities, including a state-of-the-art linear accelerator for radiotherapy treatment which required special adaptations during the building’s fit-out.
As the scope of the project changed, RLB monitored and amended the budget, ensuring UCHealth always had cost certainty and the best information to make key decisions. We worked closely as one team with UCHealth and its designers, contractors and facility managers, shaping our services to align with the project goals.
Our responsibilities included reviewing and analysing construction schedules to make certain the facility would be operational on its anticipated launch date and begin providing patient care as soon as possible.
