Springfields provides nuclear fuel, chemical and mechanical fabrication for AGR and Magnox fuel. And conversion services for uranium hexafluoride.

RLB has worked with Springfields for over 20 years. Our team continues this work on its day-to-day operations, including plant refurbishment and decommissioning projects across the site.
New build projects include; Line 3 Hex Plants, Line 4 Hex Plants, Oxide Fuel Complex, R&D Facility, and Cogeneration.
Plant Refurbishment Projects include; Line 2, 2a &2b Fluorine Plants, Enriched Uranium Plant, Fuel Canning Plant, 400 Bld Main Office Block Plant, the installation of a Powder Packing Line and Plant and Equipment for Residue Recovery.
We further assist in compiling CapEx proposals for inclusion within the commercial bid process, when Springfields seeks to secure future operational works.
