ASSET MANAGEMENT INNOVATION
Danske Bank UK, a leading bank in Northern Ireland and a growing bank in Great Britain, has been helping people and businesses thrive for more than 200 years. We developed an award-winning digital solution which has transformed the bank’s asset optimisation and budget management processes, allowing it to manage projects better and make informed decisions on capital and maintenance spending.
Our digital and data experts designed and developed a bespoke work order management application, giving the bank’s property services team the ability to record work orders and invoice details, which are automatically mapped to budget streams, and quickly analyse and update data through a Power BI dashboard. The integration of this easy-to-use application realised improvements in accruals processes, enabling a transition from a manual monthly approach to live automated reporting.

Collaborative approach
By working closely with Danske Bank UK to understand its functional requirements and desired outcomes, our team was able to develop the right solution for its needs. We created wireframes to transform written requirements and processes into a visual concept. Our flexible toolset and agile development methodology fostered a collaborative approach, allowing Danske Bank UK to monitor progress and comment on user experience at each stage of the project.

With RLB Digital’s support, Danske Bank UK won the ‘Best Asset Management Innovation’ award at Digital Construction Live 2023. The project was built on the successful implementation of RLB Field, our mobile data capture solution, which our building surveying team used to survey Danske Bank UK’s estate to capture asset lifecycle and defect data. We also deployed RLB Focus, our intuitive business intelligence platform, which the bank uses to analyse the risk and condition of its assets.
