RLB is proud to have become a Stonewall Diversity Champion, reinforcing its dedication to promoting LGBTQ+ equality across the built environment. This partnership builds on RLB’s ongoing commitment to diversity, equality and inclusion (DE&I) by fostering equity and opportunity for all.
Since establishing its Pride community two years ago, RLB has reviewed and developed its whole employee lifecycle including attraction and retention, onboarding processes and development and growth aligning with this community. Initiatives introduced include a confidential LGBTQ+ support line, community upskilling sessions, and updates to policies – such as global guidelines to be gender inclusive and introducing personal pronoun preferences.
Stonewall imagines a world where all LGBTQ+ people are free to be themselves and can live their lives to the full, aligning perfectly with RLB’s values.
Chair of RLB Pride, Amy Curnow, comments:
“RLB Pride Community is an integral part of RLB’s culture and one where we can share personal stories, insights, training, guides and more. Becoming a Stonewall Diversity Champion reinforces how we believe every LGBTQ+ colleague is valued, respected and empowered to be their authentic selves.”
Sarah Draper, RLB’s People and Culture Director for UK and Europe, comments:
“Promoting diversity, equity and inclusion sits at the core of our values and growth strategy. At RLB, we focus on meaningful actions that drive lasting change. That’s why we launched our RLB Pride community, and we are delighted to become a Stonewall Diversity Champion.”
