Building, partnering with RLB UK, has published its Building the Future ‘The Value of Sustainability in the Built Environment’ report today that analyses the commercial viability of sustainability, circular models and how the industry balances upfront costs with lifecycle benefits.
With input from both RLB UK & Europe Chief Executive and Global Board Director, Andrew Reynolds and RLB’s National Head of Sustainability, Heather Evans, the report is part of the Building the Future Think Tank, an editorial research hub that is dedicated to producing more in-depth research and reports on behalf of the industry.
Andrew Reynolds, RLB UK and Europe Chief Executive and Global Board Director comments:
“The conversation now isn’t just about stopping climate change, but also about stemming the impact of it. We have a responsibility as an industry to be the change and we are delighted to have collaborated with Building on both the report and the conference. It is only through conversation and collective action across the industry that we will realise our net zero ambitions.”
Heather Evans, RLB’s National Head of Sustainability comments:
“Sustainability and the industry’s drive to net zero are at the heart of our practice. Our clients are increasingly looking to understand the impact of their buildings on the environment and how they can reduce their carbon footprint. We’re supporting them not only to understand, but to action and implement improvements. It is an educational as well as operational piece and one that research like Building’s report and the conference are instrumental in supporting our industry with.”
