Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) in the UK has launched a new dedicated Contract Advisory service. Providing specialist advice to RLB’s customers, the service covers all aspects of procurement and contract drafting and negotiations; dispute avoidance; and dispute resolution.
Contract Advisory is headed up by Aziz Mehtajee, who joined RLB from Arcadis to help develop and launch the new service. Aziz is an authority on procurement and contract advice and has over 25 years of experience gained on a wide range of construction projects within the public, utilities, infrastructure and private sectors.

Aziz Mehtajee, Head of Contract Advisory, adds: “This is a very exciting time for the team. We are already working on a number of commissions in the UK. These include assisting the Centre for Environmental Fisheries & Aquaculture Science and Mulbury City in their procurement activities as well as recently being instructed on a quantum expert commission concerning a dispute on an infrastructure contract.
“We have also been joined recently by Karolina Grzegorek as a Senior Consultant. Karolina has significant experience in advising and implementing strategic procurement solutions and contracting strategies within both the public and private sectors. Karolina joins us from Arcadis where she was involved in assisting Manchester Airport Group procure the £1 billion Manchester Airport Transformation Programme of works. Karolina will play a key role in helping us expand and develop this area of the business.”
