RLB has reinforced its commitment to supporting clients in the advanced technology, higher education and life sciences industries by joining the UK Science Parks Association (UKSPA).

As a Business Affiliate Member of UKSPA, RLB will contribute to the organisation’s policies and activities and work with other members to promote the growth and development of science parks, technology incubators and innovation centres.

Michael Wright, Associate, comments:

“Membership of UKSPA gives us the opportunity to contribute to collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the UK’s science, incubation and innovation community. At RLB we believe we have the expertise to make a significant contribution to these conversations. We recognise the challenges faced by science parks who want to invest in their facilities and know what it takes to deliver new-builds, conversions and refurbishment projects both cost-effectively and sustainably. Through UKSPA, we can share our insights and build new partnerships for the benefit of our clients and the whole science and research sector.”

RLB has worked with 25 science parks who are members of UKSPA and more than 50 universities across the UK, providing a range of professional services to help deliver high-quality facilities for learning and research.

In the life sciences sector, RLB has a strong track record of supporting developers, investors, tenants and owner-occupiers to build or manage a range of wet lab, dry lab and manufacturing facilities.

Michael Wright adds:

“UKSPA’s vision for the sector align closely with RLB’s goals. We want to be part of a community dedicated to collaboration, innovation and economic growth, and help guide the industry on the successful delivery of development opportunities in science parks across the UK.”
