Adelaide property and construction industry stalwart Peter Tulla has been appointed RLB Oceania Chairman.
Peter Tulla is a Director of RLB in South Australia. He has served on the Global Board for the past seven years and the Oceania Executive Committee for eleven years. Since joining RLB in 1987, Peter has been involved in a range of projects in Adelaide and Darwin (1993 to 1997) in the aviation, defence, office, educational, healthcare, retail, and civil infrastructure sectors.
For over 32 years he has been providing an informed view on the allocation of cost and risk during all stages of the development lifecycle, specialising in conceptual estimating, contract administration and more recently superintendent advice.
Through his extensive understanding of development and the construction industry, Peter is considered a trusted advisor, providing guidance and service to an active network of clients in South Australia.
Peter has led the RLB South Australian team of industry experts who bring passion and innovation to the benefit of some of Adelaide’s most iconic landmarks, such as the GPO Exchange, Franklin Street Adelaide; Adelaide Airport New Terminal and current extensions, Hardened Networked Army at RAAF Edinburgh, Adelaide Convention Centre extension and University of South Australia Health Sciences Building.
Peter is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors, and the South Australian Chapter Councillor of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Building Studies from the University of South Australia.
As RLB Oceania Chairman, Peter will maintain the firm’s focus on initiatives such as the changing face of measurement; services and geography; people development across the firm’s Oceania network, and business management systems.
He takes over from Ewen McDonald, Director of RLB in Victoria, who served in the role for the past two years. Peter said that he was honoured and delighted to be appointed to lead RLB across Oceania and looks forward to fostering initiatives.
