Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB) is delighted to announce that Marie Leaphard has been appointed Chair of the South East Regional Board for the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). This prestigious appointment recognises Marie’s outstanding leadership, deep expertise and unwavering commitment to advancing excellence within the built environment.
The RICS South East region encompasses approximately 14,000 members across counties surrounding London, including Kent, Surrey, Middlesex and Oxford. As Chair, Marie will lead the Board’s strategic initiatives, with a focus on enhancing member engagement and establishing Local Member Groups (LMGs) throughout the region. In addition, Marie will represent the South East at RICS UK&I World Regional Board meetings, contributing to key discussions and initiatives that drive innovation and progress across the institution nationally.
Marie, a Fellow of the RICS, has been a dedicated member of the South East Regional Board for nearly two years. Her appointment as Chair, which runs until 2026, is a reflection of her significant contributions to the profession and her vision for the future of the built environment.
