RLB Digital, a leader in digital transformation, is expanding its Information Management practice with the appointment of Adam Helliwell, Simon Creaney and Ashkan Parianfard.

This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing its offerings in information management, centralised, structured data storage and building information modelling (BIM).

Adam, Simon and Ashkan bring a wealth of expertise in Information Management within our industry. This positions RLB Digital to better support clients in their journey toward optimising data assets to ensure project success, improve collaboration, and streamline operations.

Rob Jackson, Head of Information Management Services at RLB Digital commented:

“We are excited to welcome these talented individuals to the RLB Digital team. The combined experience of Adam, Simon and Ashkan in information management will help us meet the evolving needs of our clients. As organisations face increasing pressure to unlock the value of their data, these new additions strengthen our ability to deliver Information Management and BIM services to ensure information is robust, reliable and reusable for the long term for our clients.”

Adam, Simon and Ashkan have expertise in Information Management delivery, implementation of Industry Foundation Classes (IFC) and utilising processes in accordance with the ISO 19650 suite of standards. Their experience includes working with both public and private sector clients by working with consultants, contractors and developers in the delivery of information in accordance with information requirements. The new appointments include:

Adam Helliwell, Information Management Consultant

Adam has a proven track record of leading teams and managing complex projects to successful completion. He excels in developing and implementing Information Management strategies that optimise performance, increase efficiency, and improve quality.

As the Project Lead for the Department for Education’s Construction Framework 2021, Adam oversees multiple active projects across various RIBA stages, with construction values ranging from £9 million to £35 million. At RLB Digital, he will collaborate closely with Rob Jackson, Head of Information Management Services, and the wider team.

Simon Creaney, Information Management Consultant:

Beginning his career as an Architectural Technologist at Bond Bryan Architects, Simon has over 20 years’ experience in the industry. His expertise includes creating Information Management tender resources, the management of information resources throughout the lifetime of a project and the support of multiple consultant teams ensuring that project standards are adhered to, to allow the production of the asset register at the relevant RIBA Stages. In his role at RLB Digital, Simon will collaborate with the RLB Digital team to ensure excellence across the projects we deliver.

Ashkan Parianfard, Junior Information Management Consultant

Ashkan has a strong foundation in both architectural design and Building Information Modelling (BIM). Drawing from his diverse experience working internationally, Ashkan brings a unique perspective to BIM and Information Management practices, ensuring that digital workflows align with both global standards and client-specific requirements.

As a Revit and Information Management Specialist, he plays a key role in facilitating the exchange of information, including exporting IFC models, auditing and federating models, and generating COBie spreadsheets, primarily in the context of Department for Education (DfE) projects.

Driving digital transformation

As organisations increasingly rely on data-driven strategies to remain competitive, RLB Digital’s Information Management practice is evolving to meet the demand for effective, sustainable data solutions. These new appointments are a key part of our broader digital transformation strategy, which focuses on helping clients optimise their data resources, implement advanced analytics, and create robust governance structures.
