This commission included the construction of 200 indoor market stalls and a service yard.

A modern, 21st century indoor market was created using a glulam beam and lattice-curved entrance feature, a glulam-feature roof within the main market hall, feature lighting and advanced heating and cooling systems.
The market and service yard were tendered with a retail scheme as one package, and let to one contractor on a design-and-build basis.
RLB was the quantity surveyor and cost consultant to prepare initial budgets, detailed cost plans, and assist in the procurement of the contractor through the OJEU process.
