ENVIRONMENT

We are committed to minimising our environmental impacts and delivering positive environmental outcomes.

We maintain an Environmental Management System certified to ISO14001:2015 covering both our day-to-day business activities and the services we deliver for our clients.

We focus on:
  • Reviewing our activities to identify environmental impacts and opportunities for improvement
  • Responsible sourcing of materials and reducing our use of single-use plastic
  • Reaching our target of a net zero carbon position by 2025

COMMUNITY

We give back to the communities in which we live and work, now and in the future.

Our programme of CSR, community and social impact activities supports our commitment to creating a better tomorrow.

We focus on:
  • Fundraising and volunteering activities by supporting local, national and international charities and recognising the contribution of our people through our annual RLB Charter Award
  • Opening up opportunities through our Bucknall’s First Rung scheme which empowers all graduates to support and encourage young people that are not in education, employment or training (NEET) into the construction industry
  • Benefitting the community: for every £1 spent with RLB in 2022, we generated £2.40 in Social Value
