The new headquarters for the Shenzhen Stock Exchange is commonly known as 'the skyscraper with a skirt', due to its unusual design.
The 254-metre building features a three-storey podium that has been elevated 36 metres above ground.
The Shenzhen Stock Exchange contains offices, research areas, training facilities, an exhibition and convention centre, a virtual trading floor, public spaces and outdoor areas. The total construction area is about 265,000 square metres.
