SALON DE NING & CIGAR BAR AT THE PENINSULA MANILA HOTEL

Salon de Ning and Cigar Bar is a nightclub inside The Peninsula Manila Hotel reminiscent of 1930’s Shanghai.

The bar features Art Deco objets d’art and four-themed, semi-private rooms, inspired by the imagined life of fanciful socialite Madame Ning.

The rooms include The Zeppelin Room, inspired by Madame Ning’s long friendship with the German Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin; The Boxing Room, a shrine to 1937 World Heavyweight Champion Joe Lewis; The Shanghai Room, a recreation of Madame Ning’s 1930’s mansion; and the The Shoe Rooms, which features 101 different pairs of shoes.
