Embracing the spirit of "in and of the city", NYU Shanghai is nestled in the Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, following the way of New York University’s headquarter built on Manhattan Island.

With a land area of 11,661 square metres, NYU Shanghai features a 17-storey teaching building. The building contains six floors for teaching purpose, 51 classrooms, and 13 teaching laboratories including biology, physics, chemistry, computer science, electronic engineering, multimedia, etc.
