Ling Lam is a Managing Director of RLB’s North Asia region responsible for Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China and South Korea offices. She is a director of RLB’s Global Board.

Ling has served as chair of the Association of Consultant Quantity Surveyors in 2021-2023 representing the QS consultant community and currently serves as vice chair of the Association. Ling has also served as external examiners for local professional institutions and local universities.

Ling shares responsibility for the overall management of the offices including business development, client relations and project leadership in many public and private projects. Since joining RLB in 1989, Ling has a broad range of industry experience with strong expertise in delivering complex public and institutional projects as well as commercial projects. She has successfully delivered many high-profile projects and has experience in collaboration with international clients and design teams. Ling was the winner of the RICS Hong Kong Woman of the Built Environment Award in 2021.

Ling is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors, a registered professional surveyor (Quantity Surveying Division) in Hong Kong, a CIC certified BIM manager, the chair (2021-2023) and vice-chair (2023-2025) of the Association of Consultant Quantity Surveyors, and a member of the Hong Kong Regional Advisory Board of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. She earned a Master of Science in Project Management with Distinction from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying with Commendation from South Bank Polytechnic in the United Kingdom.
