On 28 October, the presentation ceremony of RICS Awards Hong Kong 2022 was successfully concluded in Grand Hyatt Hong Kong. RLB was named Winner of the ‘Quantity Surveying Team of the Year’ for the second year running. We also garnered another Winner Award under the category of ‘Construction Project Management Team of the Year’.
In addition, RLB provided voluntary professional QS services for Hongkong Land’s Alteration and Additional Works for the Zheng Sheng College project, which won the ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year’ Award. RLB’s Director Katherine Shum won the Highly Commended Award of the ‘Woman of the Built Environment’ category.
We are so grateful for being recognized for our standing in the built environment as a QS Consultant, and no doubt we will live up to the level of success the Awards demand. 1. Winner of ‘Quantity Surveying Team of the Year’

2. Winner of ‘Construction Project Management Team of the Year’
RLB provided QS consultancy services for the Advanced Manufacturing Centre (AMC), the flagship project of Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation. AMC was delivered using the concept of Industry 4.0 throughout the whole of the design and construction process. Our Managing Director Ms. Ling Lam and Deputy Director Ms. Alvis Wong commented that the Project is a successful showcase demonstrating strong commitment, professionalism and capability of the Project Team in delivering a challenging project through the use of innovative technologies.
3. Winner of ‘Corporate Social Responsibility Project of the Year’
In 2021, Hongkong Land worked with over twelve partners to renovate the facilities at the Zheng Sheng College for the Christian Zheng Sheng Association, a school and drug rehabilitation centre for young people in Hong Kong. Our Director Mr. Anderson Chan is delighted to have provided voluntary professional QS services for this meaningful project.
4. Highly Commended of ‘Woman of the Built Environment Award’
Our Director Ms. Katherine Shum has successfully delivered many notable projects. She is the Head of BIM Team and Digitalisation Committee of RLB, leading the digital transformation journey for the Practice including integrating 5D BIM and many digital technologies in QS service workflows.
