Supporting increasing passenger handling capacity

CHANGI AIRPORT TERMINAL 2 UPGRADING WORKS

To support the increase in passenger handling capacity and to enhance productivity, this redevelopment project involves Addition & Alteration (A&A) works to Terminal 2 arrival and departure halls; immigration halls, improvement works to the baggage sorting area, construction of a new common bus gate, including all A&A works arising from this project.

The project includes the redevelopment of the Terminal 2 Baggage Handling System (BHS) and Early Baggage Storage (EBS) System, replacement of Hold Baggage Screening (HBS) X-ray machines from 5-level to 3-level screening, A&A works to the existing Terminal 2 arrival baggage claim hall.
