THE HENGQIN CAMPUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF MACAU

Hailed as a new pilot development scheme under the 'one country, two systems' framework by China's policymakers, the campus covers an area of about one square kilometre, and includes around 1,000,000 square metres of gross floor area spread across more than 70 buildings.

Due to a tight construction schedule, the whole project from soft soil treatment to design, construction and handover inspection, had to be completed within three years.
