DINÉ COLLEGE LIBRARY
The 19,500 SF library on the Diné College campus in Shiprock, New Mexico, was designed and engineered by DLR Group.
This unique library is a gathering space and education-focused center for the entire community.
The architecture is unique, quietly referencing the built form of the hogan (hut) and the curving representation of the Navajo worldview. Spaces are created between the large curved forms that reach out to the special landforms, sacred directions, and celestial relationships that define the world of the Diné.
RLB provided milestone construction cost estimating services.
